Acting Governor Hopes Clean Village Competition Winners Inspire Jakarta Residents

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono attended and presented the trophy to the winner of East Jakarta Clean Village Competition, during Car Free Day (CFD) on Jalan Pemuda, Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Sunday (6/25).

Hopefully, the winner can be an inspiration and provide motivation for other RWs

In this activity, the Acting Governor was accompanied by Jakarta Communication, Informatics and Statistics Agency (Kominfotik), Sigit Wijatmoko; Jakarta Development and Environment Assistant, Afan Adriansyah; as well as East Jakarta Mayor, M Anwar and his staff.

According to him, the Clean Village Competition is a forum to motivate Jakarta residents to take better care of the environment. So, the winners can be an inspiration for other villages in enlivening the spirit of keeping the environment clean, especially in their respective homes.

"Hopefully, the winner can be an inspiration and provide motivation for other RWs to keep the environment clean from waste, thus Jakarta will be cleaner. In essence, we try to make residents responsible for the cleanliness of their front yards," he expressed, in the Jakarta Provincial Government press release.

He also appreciated and thanked the organizers of the Clean Village Competition, as this synergy activity between the Jakarta Government, BUMN, and private sector had become a pioneer in ensuring the sustainability of Jakarta's environment in the future.

"Thank you to the organizers who have worked together to initiate this activity in terms of environmental cleanliness. This is even better if it is carried out simultaneously in each region," he added.

As for the information, in the Clean Village Competition, there are 11 winners divided into three categories:

A). Start Category:

1). Baru Urban Village (RW 9) with a score of 563

2). Susukan Urban Village (RW 7) with a score of 553

3). Kayu Putih Urban Village (RW 4) with score of 524

Intermediate Category:

1). Cipinang Melayu Urban Village (RW 12) with a score of 581

2). Batu Ampar Urban Village (RW 5) with a score of 555

3). Balimester Urban Village (RW 5) with a score of 535

Intermediate Category:

1). Utan Kayu Selatan Urban Village (RW 6) with a score of 595

2). Penggilingan Urban Village (RW 9) with a score of 574

3). Bambu Apus Urban Village (RW 4) with a score of 557

4). Pondok Bambu Urban Village (RW 1) with a score of 552.
